General Summary
Provides diagnosis and treatment of patients within the scope of practice as defined by all applicable Federal, State and local laws, regulations, protocols, etc. and within the individual Advanced Practice Provider's (APP) particular clinical specialty area, licensure and competency level. Performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures as appropriate.

Gastroenterology - Ephrata, PA

The organization consists of a multispecialty medical group of 220 care locations, eight hospitals, and a growing number of academic clinical affiliations. About the Practice
Full-time position Monday - Friday four-10-hour shifts, or five-8-hour shifts
Brand new outpatient building with providers caring for residents in Lancaster County
Qualified Nurse Practitioners with critical thinking skills should be prepared to treat digestive (GI) disorders such as IBS, liver disease, hemorrhoids, acid reflux, and ulcers
Open to new graduates or candidates with prior hospital, GI, and EPIC experience
Comprehensive three-month orientation available for new hires

Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Licenses:
Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Upon Hire Required and
Heartsaver CPR/AED Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
