Quick Apply Part-time 13 hours ago Full Job Description The Groves is seeking a WEEKEND Homemaker - Care Giver Idea job for someone that loves to assist people such as running a family home, caring for someone, working as a server in a restaurant, prior CNA experience or a Housekeeper.
15 - 24 Hours per week, 2 to 4 shift per week Ideal Canidate would be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday Hours 2:
30 pm till 9:
30 pm.
and 7 am till 12 noon +/- Every Weekend preferred but could be every other weekend.
Pay rate based on experience.
Weekend Differential Paid.
Person must enjoy being active.
Willing to train right candidate.
The candidate must be able to think logically.
Candidate will assist Residents with daily care needs, dispense medication, assist with resident care, assist with cooking and the day to day running of the home.
The Groves is a personalized retirement home.
The Groves is a beautifully renovated Victorian Home located on Main Street in downtown Ephrata.
The Groves accommodates a limited number of seniors in a bed and breakfast setting.
The goal of The Groves is to keep our residents independent and part of the community.
This Candidate must love working with seniors, be upbeat and outgoing.
Must be able to understand the day-to-day functions of running a home.
Candidate would work with Manager or Administrator to create, plan, organize, implement, the care of residents.
Candidate will have basic knowledge of cooking and enjoy being in a home like kitchen.
Will be responsible for working with the evening cook/helper on overseeing preparation of the evening meal.
Will administer medications and resident care.
Assist residents with bathing and follow through with health issues.
Must be dependable, able to multi-task, and have the ability to run a home.
Candidate must have a sincere desire to serve seniors.
Must have a positive, encouraging personality.
Candidate must be physically active and be able to go up and down steps.
Job Duties Include:
Assist residents with daily care needs (bathing, dressing, hair care), activities, laundry, and general housekeeping.
Basic understanding of Homestyle Meal preparations.
Assisting with cleaning of kitchen and other areas of home.
Perform daily cleaning and touch-up of resident's rooms.
Assist in serving meals.
Supervise other staff.
Assist in coordination resident care.
Wound Care, First Aid, Monitoring Care and Medication.
Will be trained to administer medications, if not certified.
Assist in operation of the home.
Additional duties include answering the phone, laundry, helping with activities/special events, and possible transporting of residents.
If you have experience running a home, enjoy caring for people, are able to work independently, like being active and have good people skills.

Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
Able to lift 20 pounds.
