Evening Shift, 4-8pm.
16 hours / week, includes every other weekend Rotating hours bi-weekly:
Week 1 - Sun, Mon, Thurs, Fri, Week 2 - Mon, Wed, Thurs, Sat Pay:
$17.
20 - 18.
50 / hour, additional $1.
25 / hour on weekends RCA (Resident Care Assistant) Summary and Purpose:
This position is responsible for providing supportive help to residents and nursing assistants of the facility.
This position includes every other weekend hours.

Qualifications:
1.
Must be 16 years of age or older.
2.
Demonstrates a sincere desire to work with older, disabled, or handicapped adults.

Demonstrates a patient, courteous, cheerful demeanor when working with residents and staff.
4.
Displays qualities of reliability and dependability.
5.
Is able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

RCA (Resident Care Assistant) Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
1.
Prepares food and drink for resident at mealtime.
2.
Assists residents with some activities such as combing hair, shaving, nail care, brushing teeth, eating, and drinking.
Records mealtime consumption on flow record.
3.
Offers residents snacks or fluids at scheduled hydration times.
Records amount of snack/fluid consumed by residents on the flow record.
4.
Visits with residents.
Offers small group activities such as reading, singing, throwing ball, etc.
5.
Assists in the surveillance of residents at risk for falls.
Responds quickly to those residents to prevent injury.
6.
Assists residents who only require supervision or contact guard to transfer or ambulate short distances.
May assist nursing personnel to transfer or ambulate residents short distances.
7.
Transports residents to in-house appointments, activities, chapel services.
8.
Makes unoccupied beds.
9.
Does light housekeeping duties for residents, such as straightening drawers and closets.
10.
Obtains necessary supplies from supply room as requested.
11.
Labels resident's personal items.
12.
Adheres to Corporate Compliance Plan.
13.
Complies with HIPAA Privacy standards.
14.
Performs other duties as required by facility needs.
Physical and Composure Requirements:
The physical activities of this position involve extensive standing, full use of both hands, some bending, twisting, walking, and pushing/pulling of wheelchair and carts.
Must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and 20 pounds occasionally.
Must have the ability to function calmly and professionally under stressful conditions and communicate with others clearly.
Vision:
Requires constant overall vision including peripheral vision, color, and depth perception Hearing/Talking:
Constantly hears normal speech and talks in person and on the telephone; required to be hearing alert at all times and hear even very quiet noises to maintain resident safety.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
