Summary:
Security Specialist provides security to the facility.
Security Specialist is responsible for making rounds on the facility.
Monitoring the video camera system and will alert pertinent staff of any untoward events.
Responds to emergency call for service.
Focuses on maintaining a secure environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Responsibilities:
Practical knowledge of facility.
The ability to apply common -sense understanding and to carry out detailed verbal and/or written instructions.
The ability to relate to staff members as well as public and community representatives in a courteous manner.
The ability to occasionally work in poor weather conditions, including hot.
cold and wet surroundings.
Knowledge of surveillance camera system.
Skills in monitoringthe security camera/videos.
Competency in following safe work practices and recognizing safety and security hazards.
The ability to communicate effectively and participateas constructive member of a dynamic team.
