Responsibilities and Duties Care for children ages 3- 9yrs Perform daily checks to ensure classroom is meeting DHS & STARS standards Assist in completing observations and assessments on children Maintain daily communication with parents Assist in keeping updated logs and reports (i.

Illness Logs, Injury Logs, 45-Day Assessments) Report any suspicion of child abuse to Director Assist in maintaining an organized classroom in accordance with ERS and basic sanitary practices Inspect and notify Director of any broken toys, furniture, or objects in the classroom Attend monthly Staff Meetings Attend trainings as required by DHS & STARS hours Keep all appropriate personal records up to date (i.
