Work where you matter! General laborers are responsible for performing production, sanitation, and other general duties as assigned in accordance with established safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform any number of general production line jobs such as:
form, fill, and pack food products, palletize cases, label packaging, etc.
Collect containers, lids, and labels necessary for the day's production run.
Ability to read scales and weigh out product to fill containers.
Ensure containers are the correct size for the scheduled product to be filled.
Ability to read labels for the product being labeled.
Adhere to all OSHA safety rules and regulations, plus all Spring Glen safety policies and procedures.
Report all safety, security, mechanical, quality, or other concerns to any member of the management team.
Keep the facility clean per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) with proper use of chemicals and equipment, according to USDA, GMP, BRC, FDA, PA Department of Agriculture and/or all other applicable standards.
Qualifications:
Previous experience is not required - Entry level opportunities Ability to maintain good attendance Ability to stand for the majority of the shift Ability to perform various duties with direction The position requires ability to read, write and understand the English language, and have basic math skills in order to satisfactorily complete job requirements.
